The “dog days” of summer are especially fun here at K9 Country Club! We’re keeping cool in our new air-conditioned Doggie Daycare room, our outside play yards have tons of new toys and equipment, and the pools are open. Life is good! We also have two new summer employees… Jené and Shannonrae.

New Policies and Prices

To help keep the pets and people happy at K9 Country Club, we’re introducing three new policies for our overnight guests:

Effective August 1, 2008:

Pay in full when you drop off your dog.
This will help make pick-up time much easier for everybody. (No more trying to sign your check or receipt with a bouncing dog tugging at your elbow.) It will also help us to clarify your pick-up date in advance.

Non-refundable deposit required to book a reservation.
Your reservation will not be guaranteed until we receive a $50 deposit either by credit card or by check. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of your dog’s stay with us. This deposit is non-refundable. If you make changes to or cancel your reservation at least seven days in advance of the first night of your reservation, the $50 deposit will be credited to a future reservation.

No refunds for early pick-up.
If you return home early and pick up your dog prior to the scheduled pick-up date, we cannot issue a refund for the unused days. Please realize, too, that we may not be able to send your dog and bedding home as clean as we would on your scheduled pick-up day.

Also effective August 1, 2008, our prices will be:

• $25 per night for boarding (still 20% off for additional dogs)
• $30 per night for boarding geriatric or special-needs dogs
• $17 per day for Doggie Daycare

Drop off: 7:30—9 a.m.
Pick up: Before 5:30 p.m.
If you are unable to pick up your dog on time, please call.
An extra charge may apply after 5:30 p.m.

Monday, September 1
Monday, November 24 through Friday, November 28
Monday, December 22 through Friday, December 26
Thursday, January 1 and Friday, January 2

Please use your leash

When dropping off or picking up your dog, please keep him/her on a leash — especially in the parking lot and the office. We want everybody to be safe and happy. Thanks!

Reminder for boarding drop-off

Please remember to bring your dog for boarding between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. OR between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. This allows your dog time to play with the other dogs before nap or evening quiet time... and that makes your dog a happier camper!
